Richard Easley has devoted himself to classical guitar since he was a teenager growing up in the American Midwest. He has lived in the High Country of North Carolina for ten years, after having lived in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Easley's choice of music spans many centuries and styles and features works from Fernando Sor to Andrés Segovia, as well as his own original compositions. He plays baroque and classical works as well as romantic and flamenco pieces with flair and precision.

His classical guitar performances and recordings have been featured on National Public Radio. Easley has played with opera singers, rock'n'rollers, in cafes, on the street, for weddings, private parties, and in fine restaurants.
